  • Jogo’s Disaster Flames and Sukuna’s slash techniques are among the most destructive in the series, capable of leveling cities and defeating powerful enemies.

Although there are innumerable Cursed Techniques shown throughout Jujutsu Kaisen, almost all of them have some sort of combat utility in a battle situation. This makes it so that any sorcerer can fight to some degree as their technique either has great defensive aspects, significantly magnifies their overall attack potency or even gives their fighting style a boost by amplifying their Cursed Energy.

However, there exist a handful of techniques that only really have offensive benefits and their true ability shines in a fight. These exist to hurt their opponents as much as possible and while many techniques can end up causing damage, these few techniques specialize in it. So, let’s see who has the best offensive technique in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Ino’s Auspicious Beast Summon Is Surprisingly Versatile

Takuma Ino was a senior to Yuji during the Shibuya Incident arc, where he also showed the power of his unique Cursed Technique against Granny Ogami’s grandson; the Auspicious Beast Summon. This technique is quite different from others in the series because, instead of summoning shikigami, Ino can summon 4 different beasts into himself and fight using their abilities.

The first of these beasts is Kaichi, which manifests itself in a drill-like projectile that will always hit its target, no matter what. The second beast, Reiki, allows Ino to cover his body with droplets of cursed water, which allows him to dodge and glide out of attacks and greatly increases his agility and speed in a fight. The third Auspicious Beast is Kirin, whose ability allows Ino to not feel any damage and attack with his full might, while the fourth beast, Ryu, remains a mystery. All that is known is that no opponent that has faced Ryu has ever survived.

The Ratio Technique Lets Nanami Fight Enemies Much Stronger Than Him

Kento Nanami’s Ratio Technique is one of the more complicated ones to understand in the series, but is very powerful. The technique essentially divides his enemy into tenths and when this is done, Nanami strikes the opponent at the point where the ratio meets the 7:3 requirement. The location of the 7:3 area is essentially the weak point on that target, allowing Nanami to deliver critical hits to opponents who may even be stronger than him.

To dish out this damage, Nanami uses his signature Cursed Tool, which is essentially a broad knife whose blade is wrapped in a white cloth with black spots on it. This technique not only works on the opponent, but Nanami can also use it to isolate and target various body parts of the opponent, which can lead to their dismemberment. He can also reinforce this technique with multiple Binding Vows and can even use it on inanimate objects, with the technique’s strongest attack,”Collapse”, being able to disintegrate Nanami’s surrounding area.

Blood Manipulation Is The Pride Of The Kamo Clan

Being one of the 3 Great Families of Jujutsu society, the Kamo Clan has access to many secrets and techniques that are some of the most sought-after in the world. The strongest of these is Blood Manipulation, which is used by both Noritoshi Kamo and Choso, to varying degrees. The technique essentially just consists of manipulating and using one’s blood to deal damage to their opponents.

During the Goodwill Event, Noritsohi was seen using the technique by turning his blood into projectiles and even making binds out of it to trap Nue. Its true potential, however, is fully realized by Choso, who can use the ultimate ability of Blood Manipulation; Piercing Blood. This ability compresses blood to such a degree that it shoots out at the speed of sound and can slice entire buildings apart.

Jogo’s Disaster Flames Are Highly Destructive

Jogo has the worst luck in all of Jujutsu Kaisen, as the only fights he had in the series were against the 2 strongest characters and so, lost both times. However, his true nature as a Special Grade Curse born from the human fear of Volcanoes and fire solidifies his firepower as some of the most impressive in the series. With his Disaster Flames, Jogo can melt away and eradicate entire cities, as seen in his fight with Sukuna.

Jogo can control fire in any way that he sees fit, as he can shoot bursts of flaming projectiles and ember insects to destroy much of Shibuya. His Maximum: Meteor was an attack that leveled an entire city block and left nothing but destruction and scorched buildings in its wake. Only a character at the level of Sukuna could take down Jogo.

Yuji’s Divergent Fist Has Helped Him Quite A Bit

Though incredibly simplistic, Yuji’s Divergent Fist has proven to be quite indispensable to him throughout his journey. The technique itself imbues Yuji’s fists with Cursed Energy and allows him to deal double damage to his enemies as the punch that he throws essentially hits twice. However, during season 1 of the show, Todo revealed that the technique would be useless against Grade 1 and above Cursed Spirits.

This led to Yuji once again improving and using his already impressive physicality in tandem with his technique. This allowed Yuji to become more adept at using the Black Flash, a technique that greatly increases the damage of his attacks. With this newfound strength, Yuji can contend with Special Grades, though his true Cursed Technique seems to be awakening as well.

Gojo’s Limitless Comes With A Surprise

Gojo’s Limitless Technique is currently known as the ultimate defensive Cursed Technique. However, within Limitless, there exists an ability that lets the user manipulate different infinities, allowing them to use offensive techniques that rival the most powerful ones in the entire series. These techniques are Lapse Blue, Reversal Red and Hollow Purple.

Lapse Blue is the manipulation of infinity which creates an attractive force, being able to attract anything towards it. Reversal Red is the exact opposite, as it is the repulsive force that shoots away anything from it. Gojo can then conjoin these 2 infinities into a singularity that emits both an infinite attractive and repulsive force which can erase everything in its path; the Hollow Purple Technique.

Sukuna’s Techniques Are On A Different Level

images/news/2024/1/10/jujutsu-kaisen-who-has-the-best-offensive-technique_7.jpg

Sukuna’s main techniques are Cleave and Dismantle, invisible slashes that are infused with Cursed Energy that can cut through pretty much anything. The only usage of these techniques is in combat situations, where Sukuna needs to dispose of his enemies as quickly as possible, with Dismantle being a simple slash that he uses more often and Cleave being a stronger attack that cuts his opponent into many small pieces.

However, Sukuna is full of secrets. This is because, in his fight against both Jogo and Mahoraga, he was completely relying on his slash techniques until the very end, when he unveiled his mysterious Black Box technique that gave him access to a flaming arrow which caused untold devastation, swiftly ending both of his enemies in just one hit.

Jujutsu Kaisen can be streamed on Amazon Prime and Netflix.
