Dungeon Reset Chapter 176 will have the Dawoon going through training with teaching from a magical black cat. What’s interesting is how the story showed us how the character could use magic by using a simple trick of making shadow figures. It was something new (or we think so; we haven’t seen it anywhere else) and showed us the creative side of MC.

And that is saying something about the character. Most of the characters these days are anything but that. Characters that use their creative insight to make something new with what they have is uncommon because being technical is more important. It is also to write those things from the writer’s point of view as they need a navigator for their stories.

Given how the main character carries the entire plot on their back, it is a trend in manhwa. This is also why the training arc is uncommon in the medium. Most of the time, it is stat improvement. Dawoon will go through that, too. The story made it clear, but what he will do with it will be interesting to see.

Dungeon Reset Chapter 175 starts with the little girl saying her thanks to the MC. She hadn’t had so much in a long time and wanted to return the favor by processing a goal for him. Dawoon was glad to learn about that, but there was one big problem: she was 10, and doing her work would be child labor.

That thing was pointed out by his companion (the voice of reason in this series). And he was right to call out on that, but the girl assured them that she wouldn’t mind something like that. She had nothing to do all day, so it would be her way of killing time while she was done playing with the kitty.

The kitty (magical black cat) told MC that he is for learning magic from him. The lessons were compensation for the cat’s part for bringing him to the girl who adores the cat to death. MC was delighted beyond measure to learn about all that until the cat burst his bubble by telling him that he doesn’t have potential.

Dungeon Reset Chapter 176 will have the cat making sure that he is making some improvements in his magic skills. The MC didn’t feel too about not being able to be of great potential in the magic. He was disheartened, even annoyed, when his partner laughed in his face (literally) more than once, but he wasn’t too hung up on it. He decided to make use of what he had and improve from there.

The black got a flashback from his past about his master used to practice magic and become a legend later in the time. But that is the storyline that the cat has been fed in the world of dungeon reset and has even grown out of. Moreover, we also got to see how the story is starting to treat characters as non-NPCs, but the MC hasn’t noticed.
