The cook of the Straw Hat Pirates, Sanji has been going from strength to strength over the course of the journey of the Straw Hat Pirates across the New World. Sanji was always incredibly efficient when it comes to combat, and now that the Straw Hat Pirates are faced with grave dangers in the New World, he has had to strengthen himself even further.
In the Final Saga, the Straw Hat Pirates have ascended to the level of an Emperor group. This means that Luffy’s underlings, such as Sanji and Zoro, have had to reach the next level of strength as well. As such, Sanji has had to surpass many powerful pirates, and some of them have been left in dust by him already.
5 Vinsmoke Siblings
Sanji’s Biological Siblings
The Vinsmoke Siblings are Sanji’s very own brethren, and these individuals were introduced to the fans in the Whole Cake Island arc. There, it was revealed that they were absolute war machines, capable of taking down countries by themselves. The Vinsmoke Siblings had everything that Sanji did not – an exoskeleton, a cold heart, and a body capable of disposing of almost anyone. However, Sanji had the one thing that they did not, and this was emotions and free will.
While the Vinsmoke siblings were very strong, and, at the time of the Whole Cake Island arc, some of them, such as Niji and potentially even Ichiji, could have been stronger than Sanji, in the Final Saga, that is not the case. Sanji has officially surpassed every single one of them already, and he has hit unprecedented levels of strength since then.
4 Doflamingo
The Former Shichibukai And King Of Dressrosa
Known to be the captain of the Donquixote Pirates, Doflamingo was a monstrously powerful figure whom fans saw quite a lot of in the Dressrosa Saga of One Piece. Back then, Doflamingo was a rival for Luffy to take down. However, Sanji did have his own scuffle with him when the two met not too far away from Green Bit.
Doflamingo was able to completely overwhelm Sanji in combat, even though he acknowledged his incredible might. Back then, Sanji was far weaker than him. However, now, in the Final Saga, Sanji has become strong enough to easily defeat Doflamingo, without even accessing his full power.
3 King
The Strongest All-Star Of Kaido
King the Wildfire, whose real name is Alber, was one of the three All-Stars of the Beast Pirates. Given that he had the highest bounty of them all, and the fact that the Beast Pirates is a meritocracy, King was believed to be the strongest underling of Kaido.
He was incredibly tough, and his fight against Zoro was proof of the fact that King was no pushover. Sanji clashed with King in combat on multiple occasions, and every single time, he was able to hold his own, which suggested that there was not much of a difference in terms of power and skill between them, to begin with. However, once Sanji awakened his latent powers, he reached a level that far surpasses that of King. Right now, Sanji has enough in him to easily defeat King in battle.
2 Charlotte Katakuri
The Strongest Sweet Commander Of Big Mom
Charlotte Katakuri is the strongest of the Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates. Known to be an incredibly powerful pirate with the ability to see the future itself, Katakuri is above Sanji in terms of the usage of Observation Haki. However, overall, as a fighter, Sanji far surpasses him in every aspect of battle.
After Sanji awakened his latent powers, he reached a level far above the likes of the Yonko First Commanders. Only a handful of individuals can take him on and beat him in combat, and Katakuri certainly is not one of them. A fight between these two individuals would certainly be incredibly enjoyable for the fans to witness, as both of them excel at the use of Observation Haki.
1 Marco
The Former First Division Commander of The Whitebeard Pirates
Known to be the Former First Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, Marco is an extremely powerful pirate, whose strength has been acknowledged by even the likes of the Five Elders. In the Paramount War arc, Marco proved to be strong enough to fight against the Marine Admirals, and give them a run for their money.
Marco is an incredibly powerful figure, and the power of his phoenix Devil Fruit sees to it that he can recover from any and all injuries, as long as he has enough stamina. While it is certainly debatable as to who the stronger one between Marco and Sanji is, Sanji possesses incredible toughness, along with a very high regenerative factor himself. Furthermore, the attack power that he possesses far surpasses anything that Marco has in his arsenal, and, the fact that he was able to destroy even Kizaru’s light and shock him, something even Marco couldn’t do, clearly implies that Sanji is far more impressive than Marco.
