Isshou Hatarakitakunai Ore Ga Classmate No Daininki Idol Ni Natsukaretara Chapter 7 is going to be the latest installment in the Comedy Romance Drama Manga. The story follows the life of a popular idol who collapses in front of her classmate after a tough day at practice.
He goes to her aid and finds out that she is hungry. She took her home and fed her a home-cooked meal. She was so impressed by her booking that she wanted to eat food prepared by him for all meals and even offered to pay him an outrageous salary. Shido Rintaro, our male lead, attended Heijou High School with his childhood best friend, Inaba Yukio. Rintaro has one goal in life, and that is to become a househusband. Aside from that, he is your average high schooler.
He works several part-time jobs to earn money. He frequently helps out his cousin Ichiko Yugetsu. She is a Mangaka, and Rintaro helps her within an assistant’s capacity. He is also one of his most trusted subordinates. Even though he is a typical high schooler, the same can’t be said about his classmates.
Otosaki Rei is one of Shido Rintaro’s classmates at Heijou High and is an Idol/Actress. She is the female lead of the story and the most beautiful girl in school. However, Rintaro is not as obsessed with her as the rest of his classmates.
One day, as Rintaro was making his way back home after his shift with Ichiko, he saw Rei walking down the street. She had on a disguise; however, it was easy for Rintaro to recognize her. As he was watching her, he felt that something was wrong. It was confirmed when Rie suddenly collapsed.
Rintaro helped her back to her feet and took her back to his home. Turns out that she collapsed from exhaustion and needs food. Rintaro prepares a tasty dish of Shogayaki for her, which prompts her to ask Rintaro to be her chef.
Rintaro denied it at first, as it would cause a huge scandal if it ever got out. However, Rie was able to convince him with money. She offered him ₩300,000 (KRW) per month to cook for him, which she later increased to ₩500,000 (KRW) so that she could stay with him for better convenience. It was an offer Rintaro could not refuse.

When Rintaro’s bento box became the talk of the class, Rei was forced to take credit for his cooking. She later apologized to him, but Rintaro said there was no need as he didn’t care who got the credit.
He was happy that she was enjoying his cooking. That was when Rei revealed that she had told Mia and Kanon about their arrangement. Mia and Kanon are fellow idols of Millesta, the idol group Rei is a part of.
Rintaro was upset at first but soon realized that they were trustworthy. Rei asked him to prepare two more bento boxes for Mia and Kanon and to deliver the food to them during practice.
We later see Mia and Kanon practicing while waiting for Rintaro and his famous cooking. Kanon seems to be more excited than Mia about the food. However, it looks like they are more interested in the chef than the food.

In the next chapter, we will get to see Rintaro finally meet Mia and Kanon. Rei asked him to come deliver the bento boxes at their studio, so he will be doing just that. Looks like Rei has been singing Rintaro’s praises to both Mia and Kanon since they seem to be eager to try his food.
Since they are potential new clients, Rintaro will make an especially delicious spread. Although I don’t think Rei wants to share Rintaro with the group. Let’s see if Reintaro will be swayed by money or if he will stay loyal to Rei.
