Yuta Okkotsu is in an incredibly heated battle with the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. Fans have been witnessing this battle for the last two or three chapters now, and it has certainly been very exciting. Yuta is currently fighting in Gojo’s body, which adds another layer of unpredictability to this fight.
At the same time, seeing Gojo, at least in the physical form, is also very exciting for the fans, and also adds more excitement to this battle. Of course, while this battle is going on, fans know that it is not going to last for long.
It was essentially confirmed that both Yuta and Sukuna know that this battle is going to wrap up within 3 minutes, which means that it is going to be a very short-lived one. Yuta and Gojo have fought a very exciting battle up until now. In fact, right from the beginning, these two did not even exchange words and simply opened their domains when they saw each other on the battlefield. Of course, Yuta utilized the power of Unlimited Void, while Sukuna utilized the power of Malevolent Shrine. These domain expansions are currently at it against each other, with only one winner likely arising from this clash. Fans know for a fact that Yuta intends to deal enough damage to Sukuna from the inside so that he would not be able to maintain Malevolent Shrine anymore, while Sukuna plans to destroy the outer barrier of Yuta’s domain, so that he could then expand his own domain and essentially kill everyone. This battle is going to be decided within 3 minutes, and that is truly what makes it so special. Inside the domain, fans got to see a proper look at the hand-to-hand combat between Yuta and Sukuna.
It was clear for all the fans to see that Yuta was actually struggling, despite having Gojo’s body. This was simply down to the fact that he was not used to Gojo’s techniques, and that Gojo had years upon years of experience utilizing his abilities. Yuta was also under the misconception that Limitless was an end-all-be-all technique, where simply using it would give one unlimited power. Clearly, Gojo had to spend years upon years perfecting this technique as it is more intricate than any normal cursed technique. This actually makes it even harder to be able to utilize Limitless properly, and Yuta had to learn that lesson the hard way.
Unfortunately, he does not have enough time right now at hand to learn the Limitless properly. This simply means that Yuta is weaker than Sukuna right now, and the King of Curses has the upper hand, which was clearly visible in the chapter. Yuta was struggling to unleash his attacks, only until the very last moment, when he shocked everyone by preparing to launch a powerful Hollow Purple.

Inumaki’s Cursed Speech Made All The Difference In The Battle Against Sukuna
The person responsible for Yuta being able to launch such a powerful attack at such close proximity is none other than Toge Inumaki. Fans have not seen him in the series for a long time now, and he hasn’t taken part in the Culling Game either. Toge is still alive, however, and after the events of Shibuya, this is his first major contribution to the story. Essentially, Yuta and Toge had planned this beforehand, and he had a transmitter that he utilized to channel his cursed speech technique. This allowed Yuta to utilize cursed speech from a distance without relying on Inumaki.

However, when Sukuna interrupted the process for him and kept him from launching this powerful technique, he knew that he had no other way. Yuta utilized the power of Blue to send a transmitter next to Sukuna’s ear, and it then allowed Inumaki to channel his cursed speech right in Sukuna’s ear. Realizing what had happened, Sukuna was utterly stunned.
He was not expecting this, because, in his own mind, he had already calculated that Yuta couldn’t utilize his copied techniques while Rika was not with him. This was a true calculation, but he did not account for something like this being the case.
Yuta and Toge made a perfect plan to incapacitate Sukuna and give the former enough time to launch a powerful Hollow Purple. Upon hearing Inumaki’s words, Sukuna froze in his place, being unable to move at all. Fear was in his eyes at that moment, and fans knew that this battle might just have wrapped up. Moments after, Yuta was seen speaking the incantations for the Hollow Purple technique, and he did so effortlessly, channeling the perfect combination of both Red and Blue to create the Hollow Technique, Purple. Now, the process of launching this technique is complete and Yuta only has to fire it in the next chapter, which seems inevitable at this point.
The Result Of Yuta’s Hollow Purple
Yuta Might Just Have Beaten Sukuna
The result of Yuta’s Hollow Purple technique cannot be confirmed at this point. Fans know that Yuta’s preparations are complete, but whether Sukuna will be able to dodge it or if there is going to be something else that prevents him from firing it off remains to be seen. However, one can always guess what is going to happen in the next chapter. The chances for Yuta to land this Hollow Purple are very high. Fans should actually expect him to land this powerful attack on the King of Curses and incapacitate him completely. If that happens, then fans also need to know that this would mean that Malevolent Shrine will essentially shatter. If that happens, then Yuta can also land Unlimited Void on him, provided he does manage to survive Hollow Purple in the first place. And, that essentially wraps up this battle for good. This would mean that Yuta, in Gojo’s body, would be the first person to defeat Sukuna in battle and make history. However, things don’t end right there.

For fans who do not remember, Sukuna has Kenjaku’s insurance, which means that he can trigger the merger and extend this battle for good. Fans do not know exactly what will happen after the merger, what becomes of Sukuna, or how the battle will continue. However, Gege introduced that plot point for a reason, and it is not going to go to waste. For that to be triggered in the first place, fans also know that Sukuna will have to at least lose, or be on the back foot. This might just be the moment where Sukuna loses, and then triggers the merger, which would then make the battle against the King of Curses even more difficult, and it would also remove Yuta from the battlefield, given that his time will run out too.
