The release date of the upcoming Demonic Evolution Chapter 28 is right around the corner, and through the last released chapter, when we find out that a Double Finned Demon has shown up out of nowhere, fans of the series are really excited to find out what is going to happen next in the upcoming installment.

When the last chapter opens up, we see that a Double-Finned Demon, which has an unknown ability and element, shows up in the tunnel, and kills tons of the humans.

Along with that, we also find out that this demon has a record of killing 21 newbies, 9 single-finned, and 2 double-finned warriors.

On the next panel, we see that the guild members are also in the tunnel, where one of the newbies says that this is gonna be his first time in something like that, and at the same time, also mentions that it seems like it was constructed a long time ago.

Demonic Evolution Chapter 27: Recap and Review

Later in the chapter, we see that the Guild Master says that this underground tunnel existed even before he did, and that is why it is extremely old. When one of them, while mentioning that it seems really deserted, asks him if he is sure that there are still people using it.

This was when he revealed that after the Battle of the Breaking Dawn, where many courageous warriors sacrificed themselves, there was a sharp decrease in the number of Elite Soldiers, and they had no way of initiating a huge land expansion or multiple missions.

The Energy Crystals that they depended heavily upon for survival started to decrease severely as well, and that is why, due to the severe lack of Energy Crystals that were used to provide them with huge amounts of energy and power, the huge underground network has gradually been abandoned.

This was when this tunnel was built during the era of their greatest king, “Ang.” When Ang says that it, of course, was named after him, it triggers the Guild Master, who shouts at him and asks him what he means by “of course.” and also mentions that he just shares the same name as the King, and it is not something that he did by himself. He also says that he should stop making jokes with the Greatest Warrior of Humanity.

Later, we see the Guild Master saying that they should be more aware of their surroundings, as it is time to continue onwards.

However, we see Ang while talking to himself, saying that he is ashamed that the plans for these tunnels were suggested by him back then, and at the same time also mentions that there was something wrong with what the Guild Master has just told.

Ang reveals that whilst this was called an Underground Tunnel, it is actually a huge maze of underground networks.
