Attack on Titan Final Season The Final Chapters Releases Thrilling New Trailer

During the MAPPA x Crunchyroll! panel at Anime Expo on July 2, a thrilling new trailer for the second part of Attack on Titan Final Season: The Final Chapters was revealed, promising an epic conclusion to the beloved story that has captivated fans for over a decade.

Narrated by Armin, the trailer takes viewers back to a simpler time when it was just him, Mikasa, and Eren, racing to a tree on a hill. As Armin reflects, the trailer provides glimpses of what fans can anticipate in the upcoming conclusion. Towards the end, the narration switches to Mikasa, as she softly vows, “I’ll see you again, Eren.”

Studio MAPPA divided the final season of Attack on Titan into three parts. The first part aired from December 2020 to March 2021, followed by the second part from January to April 2022. The third part, titled Attack on Titan Final Season: The Final Chapters, is split into two halves. The first half premiered as a one-hour special on March 4, 2023, receiving high praise from fans as they bid farewell to a beloved character. The series is directed by Yuichiro Hayashi (Dorohedoro), with series composition overseen by Hiroshi Seko. Tomohiro Kishi serves as the character designer, while Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano create the epic soundtrack. The ending theme song “Under the Tree” for Special 1 is performed by SiM.

Attack on Titan, created by Hajime Isayama, has gained critical acclaim for its coming-of-age themes set in a seemingly hopeless world. What started as a story about a boy seeking revenge against the Titans for his mother’s tragic death has evolved into a richly developed lore. In Attack on Titan Final Season: The Final Chapters, Eren harnesses the power of the Titans, leading an army of Colossal Titans towards Marley with the aim of eliminating any threats to Eldia. Former friends must now unite to stop him from obliterating everything.

The final installment of Attack on Titan features notable voice actors such as Yuki Kaji as Eren Jaeger, Yui Ishikawa as Mikasa Ackerman, Marina Inoue as Armin Arlelt (who possesses the power of the Colossal Titan), Hiroshi Kamiya as Levi Ackerman, Hiro Shimono as Conny Springer, Shiori Mikami as Historia Reiss, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Reiner Braun, Kisho Taniyama as Jean Kirschtein, Takehito Koyasu as Zeke Jaeger, and Yu Shimamura as Annie Leonhart.

Fans can look forward to Attack on Titan Final Season: The Final Chapters Special 2, which is set to premiere in the fall on Crunchyroll.
