All About ENHYPEN

Formed through a survival competition show called I-Land and Belift Lab, ENHYPEN is composed of seven members, Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki. The name ENHYPEN found inspiration from the hyphen symbol that connects one word to another with the group’s aim to “connect, discover and grow with each other.” The group debuted in November 2020 and achieved the biggest first week sales for their first mini album “Border: Day One” among K-Pop groups to debut in the same year. ENHYPEN won the Next Leader Award at the 2020 Fact Music Awards two weeks after their debut.

The band’s success continued to grow as they became the fastest group to have two albums, “Dimension: Dilemma” and “Manifesto: Day 1,” selling over a million copies. “Dimension: Dilemma” debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 charts, with “Manifesto: Day 1” at No. 6. Their most recent album “Dark Blood” released on May 22 and sold over 1.3 million copies within a week and debuted at No. 4 on Billboard 200, making it their highest entry as well as first top 5 entry on the chart. ENHYPEN embarked on their first world tour, “Manifesto” in September 2022 and is currently on their second world tour, “Fate.” Their popularity and power as one of the leaders of the next generation of K-Pop are evident as they become the first fourth-generation K-Pop boy group to hold a solo concert at Tokyo Dome. ENHYPEN will perform in the U.S. in six cities for seven shoes, beginning in October.

ENHYPEN has embarked on other creative avenues other than music. The septet has collaborated with WEBTOON to release a new webtoon called Dark Moon: The Blood Altar. In the story, ENHYPEN transforms into vampires who are inexplicably drawn to a new transfer student named Sooha. The webtoon has garnered close to 46 million views and currently has 56 chapters.

ENGENEs can check out the music video teaser on July 5 before the new single “One and Only” drops on July 12.
