Accessing and watching One Piece‘s English dub will soon be more accessible than ever.
Crunchyroll has confirmed that the dub will hit the streaming service on July 5 in the United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Episodes and seasons will be rolled out in batches, but everything from the East Blue Saga to the epic “Wano Country” arc will eventually appear on the platform.

Most notably, One Piece Day, the annual celebration of Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece will occur on July 21 and 22. Occurring in person in Tokyo, Japan and online through live streams on YouTube, the event will feature main stage events with cast members from the Japanese version, exhibitions, a screening of One Piece Film: Red, the newest movie in the franchise, and a surprise announcement.

In particular, he praised the project’s special effects team, stating he is most excited about the series’ live-action versions of the Sea Kings. “Oh, god. I mean, the sea beast is one of my favorite things. They killed it with the special effects on the sea beast. The action, really good action sequences,” he explained.
