In addition to the Celestial Dragons, there were other One Piececharacters who were present. Some of them were working for the nobles, while others wanted to kill them. The conflict of interests led to a massive war in God Valley.
9 Monkey D. Garp
Monkey D. Garp is the Hero of the Marines, a title that he received because of his exploits in God Valley. Garp was not planning to head to the island, but he changed his mind after learning that Gol D. Roger was also present. According to Sengoku, Garp allied with Roger to bring down the Rocks Pirates.
This was surprising considering the two were always at each other’s throats. While the details of the incident have not been fully disclosed, it is fair to say that Garp would have given his best to fight the Rocks Pirates.
8 Jaygarcia Saturn
St. Jaygarcia Saturn is one of the Five Elders, making him one of the most influential figures in the world. He was present for the Hunting Competition in God Valley. Fans already know that he has some kind of power.
It is plausible to assume that he is a Devil Fruit user as well, but his transformation is quite different. Given his powers, it is safe to say that Jaygarcia Saturn probably fought in the war that took place in God Valley.
7 Gol D. Roger
Gol D. Roger was the captain of the Roger Pirates, who would later go on to become the Pirate King. He was a free free-spirited individual, and he did not like being tied down. Until the final moments of his life, Roger lived without any restraints.

In the God Valley incident, Roger allied with Garp and the Marines to defeat the Rocks Pirates. Many believed that Rocks D. Xebec was Roger’s fiercest rival, which was reason enough for the latter to take him down. Roger had immensely powerful Haki and physical abilities, so he would have given Rocks a lot of problems.
6 Rocks D. Xebec
Rocks D. Xebec led the Rocks Pirates until his eventual death. He was considered the biggest enemy of the World Government. Rocks recruited some of the most powerful fighters for his crew. There was no harmony within the crew, and they only stayed together because of Rocks’ strength.
It is unknown why exactly he traveled to the God Valley, but it is possible that he may have wanted to inflict harm on the World Government. Or he wanted to use the Celestial Dragons as leverage to uncover the secrets of the world. However, God Valley proved to be the final island that Rocks ever visited, as he was taken down by the alliance of Roger and Garp.
5 Charlotte Linlin
Charlotte Linlin was present during the time of the God Valley incident. She was a member of the Rocks Pirates, so it is fair to say that she was already one of the most powerful pirates of that era.

Big Mom very possibly fought against a top opponent in God Valley. She already had access to her Soru Soru no Mi, a powerful Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that she acquired during her rampage in Elbaf. After the God Valley incident, she went on to form a crew of her own and became a Yonko.
4 St. Figarland Garling
St. Figarland Garling was introduced in the final saga of One Piece. In the current timeline, he serves as the leader of the God Knights, the security forces of Marijoa. In his younger days, Figarland Garling was a champion of the Celestial Dragons. He used to participate in the Hunting Competitions and was always the favorite.
He was present at God Valley when the Rocks Pirates began their assault. Needless to say, he fought to defend the Celestial Dragons and probably took down one of the top fighters of the Rocks Pirates.
3 Whitebeard
Most fans remember seeing Whitebeard as an old man with a great deal of love for his family. In his heyday, Whitebeard was a different beast. He was a member of the Rocks Pirates, but he did not have the same attitude as a normal crewmate. Instead, he came off as a man who was just tagging along.
Whitebeard participated in the battle in God Valley, and it is highly probable that he clashed against Gol D. Roger. Or he may have switched sides because he wanted to stop Rocks’ madness. After the battle, Whitebeard went on to become a Yonko and Roger’s greatest rival.
2 Ivankov and Kuma
Both Ivankov and Kuma were slaves during the Hunting Competition in God Valley. The two had different outlooks, but it did not take them long to become good friends. They even joined the Revolutionary Army to try and destroy the corrupt regime of the World Government.
The two characters are crucial to the organization. Without their strength, the Revolutionary Army would have never reached such great heights.
1 Kaido
Kaido was exposed to wars when he was still a kid. He was used by the Vodka Kingdom for his strength and eventually sold to the World Government. However, he managed to escape and join the Rocks Pirates.
Kaido’s relationship with his captain is implied to have been abusive, as he mentioned Rocks as one of the characters capable of beating him. During the God Valley incident, Charlotte Linlin gave Kaido the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu. It is unclear if he participated in the war, but afterward, he started his own crew and earned the title of a Yonko.
