In a humorous take on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Boys features Vought announcing an overpacked slate of movies and TV series for the Vought Cinematic Universe, spanning phases seven through nineteen.
Season 4 of The Boys is currently airing on Prime Video and even though the audiences have mixed feelings about the ongoing edition, it continues to lead in rating wars. The series is known for parodying several elements of Marvel and recently did the same by following Marvel’s footsteps in coming forward with the upcoming slate of projects for the upcoming phases of Vought Cinematic Universe.
On X, Eric Kripke, creator and showrunner of The Boys, gave fans a closer look at the newly announced slate of fictional films and television series in the Vought Cinematic Universe. Also, the picture shared by the showrunner highlighted unsubtle titles such as A-Train: Into the Multiverse and G-Men: Days Past from the Future. On the other hand, Kripke noted how he and his team put so much effort into this one graphic. The creator captioned the image as, “Hi-rez image of @VoughtIntl upcoming slate. You can’t imagine the effort we put into this one shot, I was obsessed. I wanted to be able the describe the plot of everyone, with legit graphic design. See for yourself, EPISODE FIVE IS LIVE!!” Some of the other titles included in the picture are Homelander: Land of the Free, Home of the Saved, The Seven Returns, Firecracker God Help Me, Homelander Justice Served, and more.
Kripke emphasized meticulous attention to detail in this picture, aiming to describe the plot of each fictional project thoroughly. Episode 2 featured the plot of Training A-Train, showcasing an offensively tone-deaf story and a hilarious cameo by Will Ferrell, which is further expanded with additional footage. It would be interesting to see if Kripke will ever get a chance to talk about the titles mentioned in the graphic and how would he like to tackle their storylines. As of now, The Boys is entering its endgame. Prime Video has already announced the series will conclude with Season 5 and that’s one of the reasons why things are turning more and more brutal with each passing episode. Homelander has gone berserk as always, while Butcher is trying to replicate the virus that might kill Supes. The upcoming episode might turn out to be very crucial for the storyline as viewers will see Homelander, Neuman, and The Seven stuck in Tek Knight’s mansion.
The teaser for Episode 6 hints that most of the episode will take place inside Tek Knight’s mansion, where the superhero seems to be hosting a dinner party. Without any guesses, the evening turns worse as chaos ensues. In short, Homelander might go crazy once again, while Sister Sage might suffer a serious head injury. Interestingly, the clip never showed why Tek Knight is holding a dinner party and what is the purpose of it. Whatever happens, fans might get to witness a lot of bloodshed in the upcoming episodes of The Boys.
The Boys Season 4 is streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
