WEBTOON Unscrolled provides an exclusive first-look at the cover and interior pages of the upcoming second printed installment of the hit horror webcomic’s graphic novel series, Everything Is Fine.
Everything Is Fine Vol. 2 by Harvey Award nominee Mike Birchall will be published in print by WEBTOON Unscrolled, Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group’s new graphic novel imprint, on Oct. 17, 2023. As Webtoon’s top ongoing horror series starring an ordinary couple with unsettling cat heads, this psychological and dystopian horror takes place in a seemingly peaceful neighborhood with oppressive surveillance that forces residence to suppress their emotions. Along with the exclusive cover reveal, Webtoon provided CBR with a preview of the interior pages of Everything Is Fine’s second graphic novel installment.
Webtoon describes the story of Everything Is Fine Vol. 2 as follows:
People are dangerous when they’re out of options. Sam and Maggie are a normal couple, in a normal house, in a normal neighborhood. There is nothing strange about their heads, their neighbors, or their sweet little dog. Everything is fine. After a mild disagreement and a tiny bit of unpleasantness, things are back on their way to being fine and dandy. Sam and Maggie just need to clean up a very, very big mess. Everything Is Fine’s Creator Shares His Excitement
“I couldn’t be more excited about Volume 2 reaching a whole new audience,” said Mike Birchall, creator of Everything is Fine. “Volume 1 is all about setting up the game board, but in 2 we see what happens when the players flip over the table and start shooting at each other. They’re playing a death game with real, horrible consequences, which is one of my favorite genres to read and work in. I hope readers will enjoy the carnage!”
Everything Is Fine is one of several hit Webtoon series to receive a graphic novel adaptation from WEBTOON Unscrolled. Other Webtoon fan favorites are already in print and are available for purchase, like True Beauty by Yaongyi, Tower of God by Sui, and Cursed Princess Club by LambCat. With upcoming printed adaptations like Volume 1 and 2 of Everything Is Fine and The God of High School Vol. 1, the imprint aims to publish 24 WEBTOON titles a year to make their content more accessible to readers by offering their most popular content in the form of physical copies fans can find on bookshelves.
Everything Is Fine Vol. 1 will be available for purchase on May 16, 2023, and Everything Is Fine Vol. 2 will be available for purchase in both hardcover ($27.99) and paperback ($19.99) on Oct. 17, 2023.
