Netflix’s new live-action adaptation, Parasyte: The Grey, has been in development for some time. Initial news came out in mid-2022, with an anticipated premiere a year later, which, unfortunately, did not happen. Since then, fans have been speculating about the adaptation’s premise.
Netflix has finally announced Parasyte: The Grey will premiere on April 5. Along with this news, they also released the poster for the upcoming release. However, the poster only seemed to confirm fans’ theories, leading to mixed reviews. The recent poster release has only solidified previous theories, revealing that the main protagonist will not be Shinichi Izumi but a girl named Su-in, portrayed by Jeon So-nee.
