There’s trouble in paradise, and Elianna feels like she can do nothing about it. Bibliophile Princess moves forward with its romantic plot in Episode 2, but things take an unexpected turn. With the events of the last episode, it was slowly starting to develop a theory that maybe Prince Christopher was not who he seemed. His attitude gave off serious Casanova vibes. At this point, Elianna, who considers herself the “phony fiancé,” is convinced that she’s about to be disposed of. The first episode’s events tie together in this one as Christopher’s real motives come to light, and they would shock the audience.
For those in the audience who were thinking that a dark twist would take place, apparently, Bibliophile Princess seems like a prince’s dream of getting his true love. That’s right, what began as a facade that Elianna believed to be her doom turned out to be Christopher’s plan to instill her as his true queen. Lady Irene tries her best to outsmart everyone, but it looks like the handsome prince is always one step ahead when it comes to his princess. Christopher’s association with Irene was only to reveal her father’s ulterior motives to assassinate Elianna and put his daughter in her place.
Christopher Is Dedicated To Looking Out For Elianna
Their plans are soon discovered but what surprises viewers the most is Christopher’s will to let Elianna know how valuable she is. He takes the opportunity to ask the people what they think of the future queen, and they have nothing but kind words for her. It turns out that Elianna is truly a pure girl who might have stolen the prince’s heart very long ago.
It looks like he has closed all doors for Elianna’s escape, and she can’t imagine the engagement being called off now. It’s still too soon to say anything, but Bibliophile Princess is turning out to be a truly romantic story after all. There might be no “other side” to Christopher, and it may be that he is the one who was always in love with Elianna all along.
The most interesting thing about Bibliophile Princess is that it isn’t a mundane story of two people confessing to each other. There’s royal drama and conspiracies at hand, as well as the increasing number of handsome side characters. The show is still giving off a reverse harem vibe, but none of the guys have shown any romantic feelings toward Elianna yet. However, it’s already more than apparent that things won’t be easy for the lead couple going forward.
