The Egghead Island arc of One Piece has marked the official beginning of the Final Saga of the story and this arc has been nothing short of sensational, with some of the biggest fights unfolding in the story.
The Egghead Island arc is quite easily one of the very best in the story, and given that it marks the beginning of the Final Saga, only the strongest are gathered here in this arc. Of course, fans have gotten to see these strong characters strut their stuff, with many of them producing amazing Haki feats in the process.
7 Sanji Sensing Bonney In A Warm Eddy
Haki Type: Observation Haki
One of the most incredible feats that fans got to see from Sanji in the Egghead Island arc was being able to sense Jewelry Bonney inside and eddy. This eddy was right outside Egghead Island, and Bonney was trapped in the middle of it. Sanji was the only member of the Straw Hat Crew who was able to sense this presence from inside the eddy and, later on, Zoro was the one who freed Bonney from the eddy.
This goes to show that Sanji’s Observation Haki is on a completely different level compared to any other member of the crew other than Luffy, who was the first one to see Bonney inside, but not hear her. Given that he’s a master of Observation Haki, this is, of course, obvious.
6 Koby Using Honest Impact
Haki Type: Armament Haki
Koby got some proper attention in the Egghead Island Arc on the Pirate Island, and he was able to produce an incredible attack, called Honesty Impact, using which he shattered the island-sized arm of available Pizarro, the Fourth Ship Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates.
Koby pulled this off by using his Armament Haki and channeling it from a distance like a shockwave. This is a product of his training with Garp and just goes to show that he too can grow stronger if he keeps on training and, potentially, even become an Admiral.
5 Shanks Seeing 10+ Seconds Of Future
Haki Type: Observation Haki
Shanks was focused on quite a bit in the Egghead Island arc of One Piece, and his confrontation with the Kid Pirates saw him utilize Haki at its very best. Shanks was confirmed to be a user of Future Sight Observation Haki in this fight, and he surpassed all expectations when he was able to see more than 10 seconds of the future, which is extraordinary.
Usually, a person can only see up to a few seconds of the future. Katakuri is a master of this art and even he can only see glimpses of the future. Luffy, who has also had this ability for quite a while, can also not see extended futures. However, Shanks can see more than 10 seconds of the future and this is an incredible Haki feat that he displayed in the Egghead Island arc.
4 Garp Using Galaxy Divide To Destroy Hachinosu Skull
Haki Type: Conqueror’s Haki, Armament Haki
Garp showcased his incredible Haki feats in the Egghead Island arc once he arrived on the Pirate Island. Towards the end of his fight against the Blackbeard Pirates, Garp completely blitzed Kuzan and jumped from one place to another until he got to the giant skull on Hachinosu.
He then charged his fist up with Conqueror’s Haki and launched the powerful strike called Galaxy Divide. This punch was so strong that it split the entire island-sized skull in half and greatly injured Avalo Pizarro. Undoubtedly, this was one of the most lethal attacks that got unleashed during his fight against the Blackbeard Pirates.
3 Garp Using Galaxy Impact To Destroy A Town
Haki Type: Conqueror’s Haki, Armament Haki
While Galaxy Divide was certainly an amazing technique utilized by Garp, it was topped by Galaxy Impact, which is the technique that Garp used when he first arrived on Egghead Island.
Garp was seen standing on top of his ship when it was shot into the sky, and from above, he charged down with a fist coated with a Conqueror’s Haki. He then launched a powerful shockwave from the skies that destroyed an entire town under him in the blink of an eye. This technique was incredibly overpowered and just went to show that Garp, despite his old age, was a monster in combat.
2 Luffy’s Beating Kizaru With White Star Gun
Haki Type: Conqueror’s Haki, Armament Haki
Of course, Luffy got the opportunity to utilize incredible Haki during his many fights in the Egghead Island arc, and when he fought against Kizaru, he was able to produce the best of it.
To take down Kizaru, Luffy used a new technique called White Star Gun and this technique saw Luffy spin around and then coat his fist with incredible Conqueror’s and Armament Haki, and then hit Kizaru right in the head. It was so strong that it completely concussed Kizaru and knocked him down, putting him in a state where he was unable to get up for several minutes. This isn’t Luffy’s strongest Haki-based attack, however, it is still very dangerous.
1 Shanks Defeating Kid And Killer With Divine Departure
Haki Type: Conqueror’s Haki
By far, the best Haki feat that fans got to see in the Egghead Island Arc was Shanks using Divine Departure to destroy Kid and Killer. Shanks, in order to save his underlings, jumped into combat after seeing a very dangerous future and coated his sword with Conqueror’s Haki. This technique, called Kamusari, is one he inherited from Roger and he unleashed its fury on Kid.
It was so strong that just a single blow from it was powerful enough to completely crush Kid as well as Killer, who was standing right next to him. Both of them were completely defeated and this was a proper showing of what level Shanks uses his Haki on. Undoubtedly, this was proof that Shanks’s Haki is the strongest in One Piece at the moment.
