In the previous chapter of Me and My Gangster Neighbour, Yuuhi invites his friends Takeru and Kanon to his mother’s house for some snacks. Yuuhi’s friends are excited to meet his mother since Yuuhi doesn’t live with her, and it would be their first time meeting her.
On the other hand, Kaori is getting nervous about Yuuhi’s friends coming over, and she asks Aoi to teach her how to make some sweets. Kaori gets nervous looking at Aoi’s face, and Yuuhi reassures her, saying that Aoi just has a mean face, but he is actually a very kind person.
Aoi is surprised at how the older brother troubled him first, and now Kaori, the younger sister was troubling him.
