My Introverted Boy: Chapter 6 Recap

In the previous chapter of My Introverted Boy, Jaehyuk decides to ask Jayu if she would like to walk with him to the bus stop this morning, and Jayu agrees. The conversation goes on as they keep sending stickers to each other, and Jayu is unsure how to end the conversation without being awkward.

She asks her older brother for help regarding it and ends up telling Jaehyuk not to send any text after it. Jaehyuk is a bit confused about why Jayu sent that text and sends the last message saying that he will not be talking any further and going to sleep.

As he is about to sleep, Jaehyuk’s friend Sohee calls him, and she asks him if he is actually going to walk with Jayu the next day. Jaehyuk tells Sohee that she is invited if she is interested, but she just asks him if he is sure he wants to hang out with Jayu.

Apparently, there were some bad rumors associated with Jayu, and the last student even ended up transferring schools because of her. Jaehyuk crushes Sohee off since he believes that Sohee doesn’t know Jayu as he does, and he wants to keep seeing Jayu since he likes her.

The next day, Jaehyuk wakes up and sees that he is very late as he rushes to get ready and go to school. When he reaches the intersection, he sees that Jayu has already boarded the bus. Jayu spots him, and she runs down to get off the bus while Jaehyuk gets on the bus.

This creates an even more awkward moment, and Jayu finally boards the bus. The two are not able to talk face to face since there is no space to move, and someone is standing between them. Jaehyuk apologizes for being late, but Jayu is just glad that she got to see him since she thought he had already gone to school.
