My Hero Academia Chapter 423 is just around the corner and fans are waiting in anticipation for Deku to fight back against All For One, who is currently in Shigaraki’s body. This battle is not going to last long, given the setup that fans got in the previous chapter, and from here onwards, it is highly likely that the final war is actually going to be concluding very soon.
With the previous chapter opening up the path for Deku to finally get to All For One in an attempt to take him down, MHA 423 could see the job finally being done and, with that, the curtain falling on the most intense arc of the entire series.
Izuku Midoriya’s Assault On All For One
Izuku Will Land A Barrage Of Attacks On All For One
My Hero Academia chapter 423 is going to focus greatly on Izuku Midoriya. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to any fan, given that all the hopes of the entirety of Japan are actually pinned on his shoulders. Izuku continues to move because of all the trust that the people of the world have put in him, and above all, how All Might has entrusted everything to him. In an attempt to save all the people whom he absolutely adores, and to live up to the expectations of All Might, Izuku is most likely going to get the job done in My Hero Academia chapter 423.
I might not have had it for long, but it’s taken root in my quirkless self. – Izuku Midoriya in MHA 421
In the previous chapter, fans saw him run towards All For One with great intensity. Of course, he would have been stopped in his path had it not been for the Heroes that are currently taking his side. They opened up the pathway for him by blocking various attacks launched by All For One which were aimed at him. Every single Hero did their job and helped Izuku get to the greatest villain, All For One. Now, it is time for him to step up and get the job done by delivering one powerful blow after another to the greatest evil and blowing him away. Of course, fans should note that All For One, especially in Shigaraki’s body, is incredible. It is highly likely that the blow that Izuku launches in My Hero Academia chapter 423 first is not going to end it. However, it is certainly going to do significant damage.
That said, Izuku is short on time, which means that he will be looking for successive strikes on the most heinous villain of all time and will continue to pummel him. This means the Heroes will get another chance to shine in My Hero Academia chapter 423 as they open up a path for him once again, and he delivers what could be the ultimate strike to end it all in the upcoming chapter.
Deku Launches His Ultimate Move In MHA 423
Deku Could Prepare An Attack Similar To The United States Of Smash
My Hero Academia chapter 423 could potentially see Deku utilize his ultimate technique in an attempt to crush All For One. Deku might not be very powerful right now, given that he has lost the One For All, and along with it, every single vestige that he held. However, the embers of the Quirk are still inside his body and that means he can utilize Full Cowl as long as the embers are burning inside of his body. Using these embers, Deku might open up with a Detroit Smash. However, he will certainly not end things with this basic move. Deku will be looking to make the final move very special, just as All Might did when he fought against All For One in Kamino. This is where things could get very interesting and Horikoshi could actually tackle this in two ways in MHA chapter 423.
Young Midoriya, that day when you dove into the fray, my body took action as well. Yes, ever since then, you’ve been my greatest Hero!
The first way that this entire situation could be tackled is for Deku to mirror his mentor and do exactly what he did back in Kamino. This means Deku could first hit his limits in the next chapter, and then summon all the power that he has inside of him into his fist, go beyond his 100%, and deliver the same technique that All Might did in Kamino. Essentially, Deku could pull off a United States Smash in the battle against All For One, and do the job. This would serve as a very good parallel to the previous moment, where, even though All Might won, he was unable to erase All For One. This time around, Deku would do what All Might couldn’t and end the war for good with a powerful United States of Smash.
My Hero Academia chapter 423 could also go in an entirely different direction. Deku admires All Might, however, there is no denying the fact that his fighting style is somewhat different. Even though he does incorporate some of All Might’s moves into his own set, there are many moves that are unique to him. For instance, Deku likes to fight with his feet as well, and, at the same time, when he had the powers of the vestiges, he created moves that All Might couldn’t even think of. While giving homage to All Might would be incredibly cool in My Hero Academia chapter 423, this could also be a moment for Deku to solidify his own legacy by utilizing a completely new move that hasn’t been seen before.
This could be Deku’s very own ultimate move, something similar to United States of Smash, but performed in a different way which sets it apart from the one that All Might launched a while ago when things unfolded in Kamino. Either way, My Hero Academia chapter 423 could see Deku perform this powerful move on All For One and end things for good.
The Fall Of All For One And The Rescue Of Shigaraki
All For One’s Defeat Could Pave The Way For Shigaraki’s Rescue
If Deku successfully manages to launch his ultimate strike on All For One in My Hero Academia chapter 423, then fans need to keep in mind that this battle will end right there and then. The editor of My Hero Academia has previously described the previous chapter to be the “very, very, very, very end of the Final War Saga,” which means that fans are moments away from witnessing the end. It would make perfect sense for the fight to wrap up in the next chapter, which means that All For One will be gone for good.
Once All For One falls, the question of Shigaraki arises once again. Currently, Shigaraki is being suppressed by All For One, however, he is still alive. As soon as Deku defeats All For One, Shigaraki will likely take control of his body once again, and from there onwards, it will be interesting to see what path Horikoshi takes for this character moving on. It is possible that Shigaraki will be locked up and taken to Tartarus, which is something that should happen. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is going to be the end of the road for this individual. Fans know that Shigaraki was manipulated his entire life, which means a path for his redemption, and eventual rehabilitation should be open at the end of My Hero Academia. MHA chapter 423 could open the pathway to that. Above all, this chapter is going to mark the end of the war, and finally, the world can rest at ease once again.
My Hero Academia is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of My Hero Academia, My Hero Academia chapter 423, is set to be May 19, 2024.
