One Piece Ulti Cosplay Depicts the Hot-Tempered Pirate as a Demure Beauty

Ulti, the quick-to-anger member of the Beasts Pirates, is portrayed as the refined lady she sees herself as in this stunning One Piece cosplay.

On Twitter, a cosplayer who goes by the handle of @/____82c uploaded photos of herself as one of the six strongest Shinuchi in the Tobiroppo division of the Beasts Pirates. Her cosplay of Ulti is set under the night sky, portraying the character as more innocent than her actions would suggest. Ulti’s long-sleeved minidress is accurately rendered, along with her dark-blue cape.

The One Piece Fan’s Dedication to Cosplaying the Perfect Ulti

Additionally, ____82c perfectly captures Ulti’s multicolored hair that’s dominantly blue, with the exceptions of a few pink-colored streaks and a singular white one. Of course, Ulti wouldn’t be Ulti without her long, bull-like horns and scalloped edge pink mask decorated with a white stripe. The dazzling photoshoot of Ulti is enough to make one forget that such a moonlight darling is actually one of the most brutal and ill-tempered pirates the Straw Hats face in the Wano Country arc.

The Wano Country arc is one of the most important storylines in One Piece, as well as one of the longest. In the epic storyline, Monkey D. Luffy and his crew take on the Beasts Pirates and its leader, Kaidou, the world’s “Strongest Creature.” The Straw Hats also deal with the aftermath of rescuing their friend (and chef) Sanji from the clutches of Big Mom from Whole Cake Island. Distinguishing itself from past adventures, the Wano Country arc takes place in a setting reminiscent of feudal Japan.

Several big developments take place during the Wano Country arc. One of which is the introduction of fan-favorite Yamato, son of Kaidou, who joined the Straw Hats on their adventure to radicalize Wano. Another involves the shocking revelation of Luffy, who struggles against Kaidou until their final bout. Henry Thurlow, an American animator working on the One Piece anime series, is hyping up fans by saying the finale of Wana Country will blow away shows like Bleach and Demon Slayer.

“2023 is One Piece’s year. No doubt,” Thurlow said. He’ll also be directing an episode of One Piece, making him the first American anime director for the series and Toei Animation in general. Thurlow will direct Episode 1066 of One Piece, set to air this month. One Piece Day 2023 is also happening on July 21 and 22, promising fans exciting news for the series.

One Piece is available on streaming services like Crunchyroll, Hulu, Netflix and Tubi.
