8 Most Underrated Characters In Mob Psycho 100

Even though Mob Psycho 100 finished in 2022, the anime and manga still stand out as some of the best of their generation. The comedic shonen anime features Mob, a young Esper, as he traverses the ups and downs of middle school while working for Reigen Arataka, a fraudulent exorcism specialist. The two go on many adventures that result in Mob often saving the day with his exceptional strength and power.

Throughout the show, a multitude of characters offer depth and serve a unique purpose to the story. Many of these characters, however, become underrated compared to the main characters. They deserve a shoutout for the role they play.

At first, Ritsu believes the Shiratri brothers and the other Esper subjects are pathetic due to their weak abilities. It’s only when the Esper group and Ritsu get captured that Daichi and Kaito’s ability comes into play. Muto, a strong Esper that belonged to Claw, supposedly killed Kaito, showing the body to the captured group. Only after Muto disappears does Daichi reveal that Kaito is alive and well, with Muto faking Kaito’s death, revealed by both the brothers’ telepathy powers.
