Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 unveils its release date alongside a boatload of new information.

A recent Crunchyroll report has given Bleach fans a lot of information about the impending second season of the latest anime arc, titled "The Separation." This contains a confirmed July 8, 2023 release date. There was also a fresh new trailer for the future episodes, a major visual featuring Ichigo Kurosaki and Uryu Ishida, the announcement of new voice actors, and a brief listen to the new opening theme tune.

The trailer teases the forthcoming all-out war between the Soul Reapers and the Quincys, which serves as the arc's major conflict. It begins with the primary adversary, Yhwach, the Quincy's leader, choosing Uryu Ishida as his successor. Following that, the heart-pounding film provides a solid look at the animation as well as the returning and introducing characters. It also features a sneak peek at the new opening theme from the rock band w.o.d., named "STARS."

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War's Talented Cast

Multiple voice actors were confirmed to be joining the project. Aoi Yuki, known for her roles as Tsuyu Asui in My Hero Academia, Yuzuru in A Silent Voice and Natori in Your Name, will join the project as Liltotto Lamperd. Additionally, Tsuyoshi Koyama (Kamen Rider Ryuki, Octopath Traveler II, Sword Art Online) will play Gerard Valkyrie, Soichiro Hoshi (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, My Hero Academia, Baki) will voice Nianzol Weizol and Nao Toyama (Nisekoi, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Naruto: Shippuden) will take on Giselle Gewelle. These characters are all members of the Quincy race and part of the Wandenreich's Sternritter. They receive designated titles; "G" - "The Glutton," "M" - "The Miracle," "W" - "The Wind" and "Z" - "The Zombie," respectively.

A major image depicting the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki on one side and Uryu on the other is shown above. In the previous season's finale, the latter startled fans by seemingly betraying his friend and joining forces with the Quincy. This left Bleach fans with many unanswered questions, which will be addressed in the next second season.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is the anime adaptation of Tite Kubo's famed manga's last arc.
