Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku has revealed the cast for its English dub.

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku is preparing for an English dub of the fantasy-action anime, as reported by Anime News Network. The English dub will premiere on April 15 at 4:30pm EDT. Taking on the role of the protagonist Gabimaru “the Hollow” is Alejandro Saab, who voiced Kanzai in the 2011 series Hunter x Hunter and Naomasa Tsukauchi from My Hero Academia. Marisa Duran will portray Sagiri. Duran has voiced Kyōko Hori from Horimiya and Lou and her Shadow Master counterpart Louise in Shadows House. Dubs in German, Latin American Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian, Spanish and Italian will release on a later date.

The rest of the cast includes Nazeeh Tarsha (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury), who will voice Chobe, and Matt Shipman (Sk8 the Infinity) as Toma. Jill Harris (Quintessential Quintuplets) will portray Yuruziha while Reagan Murdock (takt op.Destiny) will voice Shion. Ben Balmaceda (Aoashi) voices Tenza, with Cassie Ewulu (Kemono Jihen) taking on the role of Nurugai and Jordan Dash Cruz (Ensemble Stars!) as Senta.

Mike McFarland will direct the English dub with Victor Acosta as the ADR engineer and Katelyn Barr as the English scriptwriter. McFarland has directed the dubs for Attack on Titan: The Final Season, The Boy and The Beast and Dragon Ball Z. Acosta has worked as the ADR engineer for Spy x Family, Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun and a few episodes from Season 4 and 5 of My Hero Academia and Barr has written the scripts for Tomodachi Game and One Piece.

Based on the popular manga series written and illustrated by Yuji Kaku, the anime adaptation of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku is produced by MAPPA. Directed by Kaori Makita with scripts by Akira Kindaichi, the series premiered on April 1, 2023. Ringo Sheena and Millennium Parade perform the opening theme song “Work” with Uru singing the ending theme song “Kamihitoe.” Chiaki Kobayashi voices Gabimaru, the strongest ninja from Iwagakure who is virtually immortal after surviving various execution attempts and Yumiri Hanamori voices Sagiri, the master swordsman who offers Gabimaru an opportunity to live the normal life he so desires. The story follows Gabimaru as he embarks on a journey to an island where he and a group of death row convicts must retrieve the elixir of life.

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku launched on Shōnen Jump+ in January 2018, concluding in January 2021. The manga is available to read on Viz Media, while the anime streams on Crunchyroll.
